will have to pass their particular HERS rating.
This scale is used to measure the Energy Efficiency of a home.
The horizontal axis of the scale is for the existing square footage of your home.
The vertical axis of the scale is for the proposed percentage of additional or renovated square footage.
The number where the axis connect is the HERS rating your home must obtain to obtain a building permit.
